The idea behind LAPT was do develop a brand that would distill some thought and creativity. At the time the personal fitness was fairly ‘dry’ in terms of branding. The concept here was to use a brand similar to an iconic brand – the LAPD. Something people know and understands to be tough. LAPT is about regiment and tough gains. The brand dove-tails with their ideology. Also worked perfectly given the owners name creates the acronym – LAPT (Luke Ardern Personal Training).
